Haggin Museum definitely has to be one of the top 10 places of Stockton. It houses the largest public collection of artwork by “Golden Age,” illustrator J.C Leyendecker. It has a total of 30 original art pieces to showcase. Haggin Museum has been referred to as “one of the undersung gems of California.” It stands in the center of Stockton’s lush Victory Park and has stood there for over 85 years, but it’s what inside that makes it worth visiting.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for kids & students with valid IDs. Apart from the museum, the park surrounding it is truly magnificent. During the summer, the park gets packed with families BBQing and kids playing in the field.
Here is a review from a happy customer, “This place is fantastic. The docents are knowledgeable, the art is amazing, and the historical educational opportunity is rich and vivid.”
