Brookside Christian High School is committed to educating youth in the highest ideals of leadership, self-discipline, responsibility, personal integrity, and citizenship. Brookside Christian upholds strong moral and ethical standards in an ever-changing society.
Brookside Christian offers a rigorous college preparatory program that meets and exceeds the criteria for California State graduation. Numerous electives are designed to appeal to the students' special interests and abilities in addition to the basic curriculum. There are computers, journalism, art, psychology, leadership, band, and many other possibilities. Honorary courses in Math, Science, and English are offered. Throughout high school, students receive individual guidance and academic counseling. Upon graduation, a high proportion of Brookside Christian students attend college.
Faculty and administration are interested not only in the students' intellectual development but also in their cultural, social and emotional development. Our teachers, as well as dedicated Christians, are highly trained and qualified. The Western Association of Schools and Colleges accredits Brookside Christian High School. Students are evaluated by means of national performance tests, and their high performance confirms the quality of instruction they receive at Brookside Christian School.
The very active student council offers a wide range of student engagement activities and programs. Includes banquets, formals, theme parties, homecoming festivals, spirit weeks, and much more. Brookside Christian's senior year is particularly exciting and rewarding. Older people have an annual retreat, a senior spirit week, a prom, a senior picnic, and a Hawaiian graduation tour. Several activities, as well as a full-scale athletic program, are eligible for school attendance. Brookside Christian is a Central California Athletic Alliance League member and participates in football, volleyball, basketball, softball, and baseball. Cheerleading programs lead to spirit and help create enthusiasm and excitement within the school.
Weekly chapels, daily Bible classes, prayers and devotions help to give students spiritual emphasis and support and guidance. Spiritual values permeate the learning atmosphere as Christian teachers share their personal and daily faith in Jesus Christ as well as academic subject matter. It is our hope that Brookside Christian High School graduates not only have an outstanding diploma, but also strong morals, beliefs, and a growing relationship with the Lord.
