The San Joaquin County Historical Museum has more than 40,000 square feet (3,700 m2) of show space. Feature shows include:

  • The Helen Weber Kennedy Gallery: a far reaching display exhibiting the historical backdrop of Charles Weber, organizer of Stockton, and his family.

  • The Native American Gallery: a display exhibiting the financial and social societies of nearby Yokuts and Miwok clans in the San Joaquin valley.

  • The Floyd Locher Tool Collection: the biggest instrument accumulation in the United States west of the Mississippi River.

  • The Sunshine Trail: an open air natural history display that takes guests through the various biological systems of the Sierra Nevada, lower regions, and San Joaquin valley.

  • Advancements in Agriculture: displaying San Joaquin County's huge commitments to worldwide farming innovation.

  • Noteworthy Structures: over the exhibition hall complex guests can see the Calaveras Schoolhouse from 1884, the Charles Weber cabin, and the Victorian style of the Julia Weber House.

  • Tractors and Earth Moving Equipment: the historical center hosts three huge displays committed to tractors, scrubbers, and bulldozers imagined and made in San Joaquin County, including apparatus from the Holt Manufacturing Company, R. G. LeTourneau, and Samson Iron Works.

The San Joaquin County Historical Society and Museum works a few projects for understudies and grown-ups. The mainstay of the instruction division is the Museum Docent Program, where intrigued grown-ups take a one year course in neighborhood history and training. Upon graduation, docents are relied upon to fill in as volunteer teachers for different exhibition hall programs. The exhibition hall docents are sorted out through the Docent Council, which effectively raises support for the historical center.
