Tracy's roots relate to the building of Central Pacific Railway lines running from Sacramento via Stockton and to the San Francisco Bay Area in the mid-19th century. Tracy is a member of the Bay Area branch of the San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland, CA Combined Statistical Area. A variety of small communities developed along those lines, including the one named for Lathrop J. Tracy, the founder of the railroad. Tracy, which was incorporated in 1911, developed rapidly and prospered as an agricultural district, even as railway operations began to decline in the 1950s. Tracy is a place where there are a lot of welcoming people. They have leisure opportunities for people of all ages and families. They do have beautiful parks.

One of the well-known parks here is Ceciliani Park. It is in a lovely neighbourhood. This is a pleasant little park located next to Villalobos elementary school. The park is wide with around 4-5 bbq pits, plenty of tables to sit at, a massive play structure for children to play on as well.  The park is well maintained for children. It is clean and healthy. There are two play areas for very young kids and one for older kids. It’s a fun and easy park for kids to enjoy the evening. There are some simple structures and chairs to sit and relax while watching children play. Also, you can see numerous picnic tables, open, shaded grass to lay out blankets for babies to lie on.

In the center is a small courtyard area with benches and various bushes. A short, paved trail runs along a small creek. Good for dog walking or jogging. There are several small BBQ areas too-usually single family sized. Bathrooms are available, too.

Some people come to this park for purposes of personal & photography. You will like this park because of the beautiful Willow trees and all of the shaded areas. There are so many gorgeous park areas that make perfect backdrops for photos any time of year! The beautiful open spaces are gorgeous places for families and friends to meet and be together. It is breathtaking to share the atmosphere with your loved ones and understand a little bit of nature here.

Ceciliani Park is a well managed place. If you are planning to have a gathering here, it’s definitely convenient to do it here. This place has a perfect atmosphere for any birthday celebration. Your guests will enjoy going here. A park is an open space area created for public use, which is usually managed and maintained by a municipal government.
