Tracy was incorporated in 1910, and it developed rapidly following the creation in 1915 of the first irrigation district. While railroad operations started to decline in the 1950s, Tracy continued to prosper as an agricultural region. Today the City seal represents this railroad and agricultural heritage.
Tracy provides all manner of safe and convenient leisure opportunities. The Department of Tracy Parks & Recreation offers outstanding programs that enrich the lives of residents, with particular focus on our children, families and seniors. A great benefit for residents is our parks, sports center, community pool, library services, bikeways and other amenities.
Larch Clover Park is one of the visited parks in the neighborhood of Tracy. This park is on the smaller side, just next door to the Community Center. This local park includes a large basketball court, baseball diamond, and children's playground. There are grills at the picnic area so bring any meats to prepare. It’s a great place to visit in your free time with your family and friends. Hanging out on a picnic here is a great idea.
It has a small grassy area adequate to chuck a ball around, a basketball court, and a swings play system. It isn’t the largest playground, but it's good enough for the local kids to let go for a while. It's a wonderful place to take your children in. But, remember that there are no toilets here. Your children can’t go to any restrooms. Some people come here on their way home after work because it's a great pokestop and Pokemon go poke gym.
If you are looking for a nice spot to hang out on a sunny day, this park definitely offers a quite relaxed atmosphere. If you want a good place for a moment of rest, Larch Clover Park is a place to go.
A park is an area of natural, semi-natural, or cultivated land reserved for human enjoyment and recreation, or for wildlife or natural habitat protection. Urban parks are green areas within towns and cities set aside for recreation.
